Of mice and men

This book is by John Steinbeck.

I have to say this book was interesting. I honestly thought this book was a little in appropriate for freshman, but it is what it is. So this book is about two friends, Lennie  and George. These friends have been together for a while. As we find out in the first few pages of the book, Lennie has a mental problem. As we learn Lennie is very sweet and means well. As for George, well he looks over Lennie. He cares for Lennie a lot! Throughout the book you hope they are both okay at the end! You fall in love with some characters. As for other characters, you soon hate them. But that's like any book! This book has a sad ending (sorry for the sad ending!). It's a good book with a great life story. Read this classic and be happy!

Romeo and Juliet

This is by Shakespeare.

This play is very sweet, and very tragic. I will say if you read the original text you will be very confused! Either way it's a love story with a sad ending. This book is very famous. It's about a boy named Romeo and a girl named Juliet. They are from rival families. But they fell in love with each other. You would think this is good and the families will work it out for there children. But if you thought that you are completely wrong and should read the book. It's really inspirational to me, it tells you to go out and do what you want.  I will say it was a pain to read for class but it was good. So if your looking for a classic, I would read this one!

Crossed

This book is the second book of the Matched series. This series is very good, an I would recommend it to anyone who likes the Uglies or the maze runner. Crossed is full of exciting an twisting turns with an excellent plot. This book takes off from the ending of matched, as you leave off from matched you wonder what will happen in the next book. Well I could tell you, but I think it would more enjoyable to read. So the story starts off with Ky an Cassia working an programming. As Cassia is programming the government moves her around time to time. But eventually they will stop, when they stop it will be easy an hard. Easy because she will be in one place for a long time, an hard because the security in each place is different. As Ky hates his place where he lives, Cassia misses him very much. My is in a middle of a place where a lot of fights brake out. Trying to escape will be hard, but finding new friends will be a plus! Each of them are trying to find a way to reunite. Find out if both Ky an Cassia find a way to reunite....

The Pigman

This book is about a man who is elderly and a little crazy. This book has three main characters, a boy, a girl, and the pigman. This book is about a man who is very lonely, these two children (they, and the girl) start making prank calls to people and the pitman is one of them. When the pitman answers the phone the two children tell him they are part of an organization and ask him if he would like to donate. He says yes, the children say they will be by tomorrow to collect. The girl is very lenient to take the money, but the boy on the other hand could care less. though out the course of this book it switches on and off between the boy and girl, they tell there stories about the pitman.

The book thief

This book is about the holocaust and a girl who is living during it. This girls mother has to get her kids out of her house, neighborhood, and anywhere where anyone can find them. She finds a family to take care of her two kids, but on the way something terrible happens. when they get there they find the family to be very nice. But as they soon find out were they are now isn't safe either. The war is getting bad and hitler is gaining power and soldiers. She finds herself to be hailing hitler even though she has no desire to. This book is called the book thief because this girl loves to read anything she can get her hands on. Honestly I found this book to be very slow, but was kind of enjoyable. Read the Book thief to find out what happens next.

this wicked game

This book is about a girl who's family is part of a voodoo society. Her boyfriend who's family is also part of the society find out something that there not supposed to. As her and her boyfriend find out more information there into a dangerous situation. Not knowing what will happen next they take the chance to find out more and more. Soon the girl finds herself in danger most of all. Read "this wicked game" to find out what happens in this mysterious book.

Matched

This book is about a girl who just turned 16 or 17. When you turn this age your are paired up with your "match" this match is the person you would be most in love with. This girls name is Cassia, she gets paired up with her best friend Zandar. When you get " Matched" you gets card to know everything about your match. When Cassia puts her computer chip in her whole life is changed, the wrong person ends up on her screen, and she knows him to. Find out what happens next, In "Matched"

The fault in our stars

This book was amazing. This book is about many cancer patients, but this book shares the story about mainly two of them. The patients meet at a counseling session. The session is a big group of people who talk about there cancer. The two main characters meet for the first time in the group session. They start to become really good friends. They are starting to fall in love. This book goes through there cancer lives. They both read this book that has a big impact on them. They email the author and surprisingly he emails back. The girl used her wish and the boy didn't. They both really want to meet this author. But something goes wrong with the girl and they have to postpone there trip. Read this book to find out what happens next..... it's worth reading. 

Eleanor and Park

This book is about a boy named Park and a girl named Eleanor. This book is like a romance. I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone under the age of 12 years old because of some words in the book. This book is about how a boy sticks up for a girl on the first day of school. This girl is a new girl at school, she can't find seat on the bus. He offers to share his seat with the girl. The girl reads all of his comics over his shoulder. Soon later he places comics and cassettes on the seat for her to borrow. Soon she runs into a problem she can't listen to them so she explains to him why she can't take them. Soon later he gives her the things she needs to listen to the tapes. They become really good friends throughout the book. But a problem has been in the story since the very beginning. Her mother doesn't do anything about. It's her step father he is the problem, find out more in the book Eleanor and park. It's worth reading!

Are you experienced?

This book is about a boy who goes back to Woodstock. He loves to play guitar and hates that one day a year his father morns about his dead uncle. But on the night of his uncles death he gets so angry at his father that he plays the guitar that was his dead uncles. As soon as the chord is played he gets hit by a car on a highway. The girl and two boys get out of the car and go over to him. They introduce each other and the boy finally figures out that it is his uncle and father that he was talking to. His father was fifteen and uncle was around the age of twenty-two. They tell him they are going to Woodstock and all of the past happens. Find out what happens next. This was a great book. I love the author Jordan Sonnenblick, so anything by him I will read.

Margrettown

This book is a love story about a man named N. and a women named Maggie. N. is making a book for his daughter because he is dieing. In this book Maggie is a student who is failing N. class. He is supposed to tell Maggie that she is failing but instead he falls in love with this girl. When they are close to marriage he has to meet her family but on the way to her house he gets told that she is cursed.  She is cursed because she is a girl of many women...... Find out why she is a girl of many women. This book has some content that is not appropriate for people 13 and under. I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in any love story or mystery. This is a very humorous book as well.

The False Prince

This book is about a man named Conner who took four orphans from the orphanage. He is determined to make one of them the long lost prince. Each of them have two weeks to go throughout a series of test and have to learn multiple things throughout theses two weeks. Only one of them can become the prince. Each one needs to know how fight ,speak a certain accent and need to know how to read, have manner, ride a hours, and much much more. In Conner's house there are many servants. Some of the servants can be traitors. Thought out this book I was wondering what was going to happen next. This book is a mystery/fantasy and is very interesting and very good. This book is a trilogy. I would recommend this book to someone who likes fantasy or mystery or both.

all these things i have done

This book is by the same author of elsewhere. This book is a sci-fi book that is in the future. This book is very good and very interesting. While I was reading this book I could pick out some of the details, such as how she  were describing the Statue Of Liberty. She was describing it as a green figure with a long dress. This was very cool that she described such things in the book this way. I would recommend this book to someone who was into sic-fi. This book is about a girl who's family has a forbidden/illegal food, and that food id chocolate. Caffeine, chocolate and a bunch of other stuff is illegal in this place. Her family owns a chocolate factory, but her family is very dangerous and has a very bad reputation. Her mom and dad died, her brother has something wrong with him her legal guardian is dieting, her sister has no one so she is the one that has to be the one in charge. But something goes wrong and now since her brother is the oldest he has to take charge.Read the book and find out what happens. There is a bit of kissing. I would recommend this book to a 13 year old and up.

after ever after

This book is the second book to drums,girls and dangerous pie. This book is about how jeffery has to go to school after the cancer and how it changes him in class and what extra help he gets since he got cancer. This book was very sad, but very enjoyable. The book was very funny at some parts and showed allot of emotion toward the situation. In the book Jeffery's brother Steven moves to Africa to find himself (as he says) he leaves behind his girlfriend and family. Steven feels lost without Steven there and has to find his way on his own.
I would recommend this book to anyone who has read girls,drums,and dangerous pie.

the whole story of a half girl

This book is about this girl named Sonia, she is Jewish and Indian. She went to a private school with really fun teachers and friends until her dad loses his job. Her father becomes very depressed. She starts going to a new school and meets new people. She trys out for cheerleading and makes it on the team. But she is making friends with girls who want to change who she is and she starts to hang out with girls who aren't very nice. This book is very good and shows how people can treat others when they want something.

the boy who owned the school

This book is about a boy who never wanted to be seen by anyone. He would sneak by people to get to class and even his locker. This boy really liked math and he was actually very good at it, but he was doing very poorly in English and he was called up to the teachers  desk. She wanted him to be part of the school play for extra credit. He had to be in charge of the fog machine for extra credit. The boy who owned the school is a very funny book.

Because of mr.terupt

This book is about the worlds best teacher ( well that's what his students say ). Mr.Terupt is a nice , kind, and very respectful man. Mr. Terupt is the worlds best teacher. There are ups and downs but Mr.terupt always knows what do. He is a loved teacher. But soon he is not at school because of an incident that has happened with a snowball. Find out why Mr. terupt is not in school.
This is a very nice book with allot of feeling. You will learn to love each and every student in his class.

Elsewhere

This book is about a girl who died from getting hit by a car. Her name is Elizabeth but everyone calls her Liz. Liz is only 15. She has a brother, mother and father. When she died and when everyone dies they go on this boat called the S.S. Nile. The S.S. Nile brings everyone to elsewhere. Elsewhere is were everyone goes when they die. When she gets there she meets her grandmother who died when she was a baby. Find out what happens in Elsewhere. It's worth reading !!
